About Your Contractor

John Miller was born near Seattle, Washington December 15th, 1960 at the tail end of the baby boom. Taking every opportunity he took shop classes through six years of Jr. High and High School.  Perfecting his craft in his fathers workshop, he began showing in regional art fairs as a fine woodworker.  After graduating from high school, he moved to Pensacola, Florida to pursue his dream of owning his own business.

In his first venture, he built and installed wooden hot tubs. Quickly recognized as a go getter he was asked to join forces with Larry Robbins at Pensacola Pools. At the age of 22, he tested for his General Contractors License and achieved the highest score to date.

After 20 wonderful years, a friendly division was made and the trademark “Funrooms” was registered. Using the same workmanship and high standards, over time developed thousands of happy customers who know and trust the name and the man...John Miller.
